the real surreal

Rene Magritte, Le Viol, 1934

Rene Magritte, black magic,1945
Rene Magritte, Golconda, 1953
photos from google and wikipaintings.org

Magritte said that his paintings means nothing, they evoke mystery. Nothing is more real than some good surreal paintings. I wish i could paint meaningless clouds. I adore Magritte. i adore his clouds.
